We know that the majority of dog owners are responsible and we do not want to prohibit them from enjoying the open spaces that the Vale of Glamorgan has to offer. However, there is a persistent issue across the Vale of Glamorgan where dog faeces is not being removed. In order to tackle this issue, the Council has the power to serve a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). Please see the notice of proposed restrictions, which are based on current byelaws, before responding to this survey. Officers will hold a number of drop-in sessions throughout the consultation, details of these can be found on our website.
